2.The Islamia University of Bahawalpur: IUB

islamia University Rahim Yar Khan is the sub-campus of IUB. Rahim Yar Khan is a district of Punjab its earliest name was Naushehra and it’s the 17th largest city of Pakistan. This city is also known as one of the largest producers of cotton Agriculture is the Occupation of 65% People Living in Rahim Yar Khan, one of the top districts of Pakistan in Agricultural production and number one district on the basis of revenue return. The climate of the Rahim Yar Khan is extremely hot and dry in the summer season while in winter the city is quite pleasant and is usually cold and dry, the summer season is reasonably longer than the winter season.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading the historical institute of Jamia Abbasia. Over the decades, Islamia University of Bahawalpur has played a major role in empowering the education system, it has many campuses across Pakistan one of which is Islamia University Rahim Yar Khan campus started in 2005.
